Yantanxi Scenic Area

Yantanxi_scenic area is locarcd in the middle and upper reaches of Nanxi ariver,the stream of Yantanxi canyon is beond 40 kilometers the stream bottom is gentle,the large rain collection ground moistens the canyon, and the dense forest with the high quality water.The steam runs into the beautiful Nanxi River unceasingly throughout the year. Linkeng Old Village,called as 'uncut jade in the mountain,: is the mountain dweller preserved completely in Nanxi River. Yubei Village was built in the Tang Dynasty,was rounded by mountains,and it forms a shape like lotus.Number One scholar of the Southern Song Dynasty Wang Yingchen and his broher Wang Yinglong were persecuted by the trercherous court official Qin Gui and shifted from Jiangxi Province to Yubei. Xikou Old village was established in the age of the Northern Song Dynasty,one aristocratic family which had six officers within three eras existed in this village in the age of the Southern Song Dynasty,among them,Dai Meng,Dai Xi and Dai Tong were very important bachelor of science in that age,and they were mentioned in historic record for their literature.The layout of village is in perfact order,and the buildings of dweller are full of local characteristics. Main scenic spots: Linkeng Old village,Huangnan Old village,Yubei Old Village, Xikou Old Village,Zhao Qunli Memorial,Qinglong Lake,and stream Landscape.
